Change the teaching theories of education system to stop school shootings like Florida Parkland school shooting

Amygdala system of brain mechanism plays a significant and decisive role in the behavioral changes of academic performance. School shooting happens due to the corrupted modulation of amygdala stream that is not changed physically by the teaching theories of school system. Education is two dimensional school system in which teaching performance is the first dimension of formal classroom and learning process is the second dimension of institution. So teaching dimension and learning dimension are the two major dimensions of education to run schools in the community.

If we control students to follow the rules, regulations and discipline of school system, it means that we are controlling the amygdala system of student’s brain. We need a school system that is running on the science of amygdala functions. In fact, the first dimension of learning mechanism in brain science is the amygdala system of subcortical brain and it is modulated in other dimensions during learning process. Teaching couldn’t provide favorable plasticity in school shooter’s brain to bring changes in the physical structure of amygdala for the improvement of cognitive functions that takes place in the prefrontal cortex of brain.

Neuroscience describes the working mechanism of brain and neuroplasticity is the subject of learning mechanism. Temporal lobe communicates with the hippocampus and plays a key role in the formation of explicit long term memory modulated by amygdala stream. Individual intelligence is delivered by the temporal school of brain mechanism and individual ability is acquired through the practice of cerebellar learnography.

Wednesday’s attack is at least the 18th shooting in the US this year on or around school premises, according to research by Everytown for Gun Safety. Since 2013, there have been 291 reported school shootings in America, which averages out to about one per week. This is the worst shooting since 2012, when gunman Adam Lanza attacked Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut. He shot dead 20 young children and six adults before killing himself.

Teachers and students are dying in school’s premises. At least 17 people are dead after 19 years old ex-student opened fire at a high school campus in Parkland, Florida. The suspect was Nikolas Cruz, a former student at the school who had been expelled because of harmful and threatening behavior. He escaped with fleeing students but is now in police custody. As the attack unfolded students were forced to hide as police swooped in the building.

It is the deadliest school shooting since 26 people were killed at Connecticut school Sandy Hook in 2012. It is the sixth school shooting incident this year so far that has either wounded or killed students. The school has nearly 3,000 students. Classes are cancelled for the rest of this week. Many students said they thought it was a drill because a fire alarm practice had taken place shortly before the shooting.

We know that teaching theory is the backbone of education system to provide quality learning in classroom. Students can’t do anything in learning process without teaching activities because they are dependent on teachers for learning and understanding. Amygdala system of brain reflects true learning that depends on the amount of time a student spends actively engaged in the learning process of knowledge chapters compared to the amount of time the student needs in passive listening to teaching performance.

The shooter was former student and the teaching performance of classroom could not transform the working mechanism of his brain. We believe in the teaching power of education but the pencil power of motor learning should be focused in school system. Pencil power is the finger mapping of brain learnography that writes the advancement of knowledge chapters in science and technology.

Human engineering, human ergonomics and human learnography are the most important aspects of book to brain knowledge transfer. School learnography is not school education. It deals with the science of learning mechanism to prepare the brainpage of knowledge chapters in classroom. This is known as the brainpage theory of learning mechanism which can be practiced in school system to change the chemical, structural, functional, behavioral and productive aspects of working mechanism related to the amygdala system of brain.

Learning from teachers and learning from brainpage modulation both are different approaches in school system. We have to change the teaching system of classroom to manage the learning drives of knowledge chapters by applying the facts and findings of neuroscience. Learning mechanism of brain science should be introduced instead of teaching theories for better achievement in less time.

Academic success provides problem solving capacity to apply pencil power in the field of creativity and innovation. It is discussed that teachers should cary guns to stop school shootings in time and pencil power is ignored to change the thinking mechanism of student’s learnography.

It’s true that gun power is disastrous to the environment of learning development in school system. Bullets are discharged and shot to satisfy the firing of few neurones of corrupted amygdala. Teachers and students are injured and killed in school’s premises. Learning changes the structure, functions and behavior of working brain but pencil power is not acquired while attending school for the period of 12 years. School shooting has changed the definition of school education. Teachers may face life threatening fear factor while teaching in classroom and parents may not be sure that their children will return home in the evening.

Whole education from school to university can be completed within 15 years’ time span using brainpage theory of school system

Education and work are two basic phases of human life. Education takes long span of time and work is the necessity of livelihood. It’s not easy to find a good job even after completing specific degree in university. Sometimes it is observed that work becomes more important than education. Students can’t complete the particular course of university degree on time, so it takes extra years to achieve a degree in higher education.

Average active age span of 80 years can be calculated to describe the structural life of human beings. Age of 1-20 years is spent on the learning development of brain to achieve skill, knowledge and experience. Age of 20-60 years is suitable for the working and earning life of people. Retired age is 60-80 years and above 80 years, brain requires full care and rest for peaceful living.

In this way, a person can manage the time span of his life like 15 years in knowledge learnography, 40 or 50 years at workplace and 20 years at home as the retired part of life. He will need extensive care and peaceful environment above 80 years of age, as cerebellar learnography begins to deteriorate and cognitive functions may decline because of brain’s shrinkage, poor memory and loss of gray matter.

Whole education and its total years are related to the progress of individuals. Higher education is expensive so academic expenses may go up with the increase in years. The calculation of academic time span shows primary 5 years, secondary 7 years, bachelor’s degree 4 years and master’s degree 3 years. In this way, total time span for complete education may be 19+1 years. So students may finish university degree at the age of 25 years. Doctoral degree may take 3 to five years and the years of kindergarten are not added in this span.

  • Kindergarten – 2 years
  • Primary education – 5 years
  • Secondary education – 7 years
  • Bachelor’s degree – 4 years
  • Master’s degree – 3 years
  • Transfer time – 1 year
  • Doctoral degree – 3 to 5 years

Thus, complete education takes about the period of 25 years. If students start primary education at the age of 5 years, they will finish university education at the age of 30 years.

Workforce is essential for the growth and development of a country, so education must be complete at the age of 20 years. The working potentials and productive drives of human brain are observed very high between 20 to 30 years’ age. Working drive of brain may be lost in the courses of higher education because university education is completed at the age of 30 years. Students are seen fighting to compete in the race of working and earning, however, education takes long span to provide academic degrees for progressive future and better placement.

Brainpage theory of learnography can reduce the total time span of education to 15 years, so students may secure master’s degree at the age of 20 years and will be qualified to find a good job for working, earning and living. Total span shows foundation course 2 years, primary 3 years, secondary 4 years, bachelor’s degree 3 years, master’s degree 2 years and apprenticeship 1 year. The age of 20 years is suitable for productive and hardworking workforce.

Hence, the academic performance of students from school to university will be completed at the age of 20 years and the workforce of young brains will be ready to join hands in the progress of national economy. Doctoral camp may be arranged in university to conduct research work and thesis writing for Specialization and PhD degree. We must realize that the working life of our children can’t be sacrificed in the name of higher specialized academic degrees. They will be successful to achieve doctoral degree while working and earning.

Learnography deals with the brainpage theory of knowledge transfer. Book to brain knowledge transfer is the direct learning of school system. Learning dimensions of brain should be used to modulate and make smart brainpage in school system

School hour is spent mostly on teaching activities and students don’t get time to read, learn and solve the task problems of knowledge chapter in classroom. Student’s learning fully depends on teaching activities and this is the main drawback of school system. Learning potential of student’s brain is never utilized to know and understand the subject matter of knowledge chapters. Obviously, education is focused on teaching performance based school system.

We know that the teacher is always focused in school system for knowledge transfer. In classroom, chapter is described and learning is transferred to students through teaching process. This is known as the indirect learning of school system in which knowledge is transferred from book to teacher and then from the teacher to students. Students emulate the learning of subject matter in task solution by imitating the teacher’s performance. So education is defined as the learning of school system from the imitation of teaching instruction.

Amygdala system of brain generates the dimension of knowledge matrix, the first dimension of learning brain. The second dimension is definition spectrum and it is produced by the prefrontal cortex and visual cortex of brain Eye of brain is prefrontal cortex which deals with logic, planning, decision and execution. Sensory cortex gives the third dimension of formator in which students improve the formatting capabilities of knowledge chapter.

Architecture of technology and its advancement run on the whole-parts axiom of geometry. Segmentation of knowledge chapter undergoes breaking process to develop microsolvers in the segments of learning process. This is the fourth learning dimension of chapter provided by the motor cortex of brain.
