Cinema is defined as motion picture and it is a great source of entertainment. We watch movies in the theater and moving pictures are projected on the screen with sound like talking voice, dialogues, songs and music. The cinema is the art of simulating experiences to communicate ideas, stories, perceptions, feelings, beauty or atmosphere by the means of recorded or programmed moving images along with other sensory stimulations. This is a series of still images that create the illusion of moving images when shown on the screen.

Individual images that make up a film are called frames . In the projection of traditional celluloid films, a rotating shutter causes intervals of darkness as each frame is moved into position to be projected, but the viewer does not notice interruptions because of an effect known as persistence of vision. In this effect, the eye retains a visual image for a fraction of second after its source disappears. The perception of motion happens due to the psychological effect called the phi phenomenon.

Which parts of our brain become activated during film watching to experience the real perception of life and happenings?

We know that the film watching is not real and this is the projection of moving images integrated with sound system. Actors have played distinguished characters and highly emotional scenes are prepared with special graphic effects. It is fact that cinema watching runs on the brainpage theory of instance guided object learning (IGOL). Declarative memory refers to knowledge memories that are consciously recalled as the episodes of life. It depends primarily on medial temporal lobe, amygdala and hippocampus. Procedural memory refers to the memories that are responsible for learning and remembering cognitive and motor skills. It depends primarily on the basal ganglia and cerebellum of brain.

Knowledge transfer is initialized in the primary cortex of brain but it is analyzed and rationalized in association cortex. Then cognitive knowledge is projected to the limbic circuit of cingulate gyrus, parahippocampal gyrus and diencephalon. This is the Papez Circuit of limbic system where cognitive knowledge is emotionalized to form limbic knowledge for the generation of zeid factors.

These zeid factors of limbic knowledge are projected to the memory circuit of amygdala to encode the learning of knowledge transfer for consolidation. Learnographic circuit runs in basal ganglia where limbic knowledge is processed into motor knowledge. Cerebellar learnography runs in the zeid circuit of cerebellum in which motor knowledge is modulated with space, object, time, instance and module to increase the efficiency of working mechanism.

Zeid factor is emotionally charged decision that is projected to amygdala for the learning and memory of knowledge transfer. The triangular neural circuit of parahippocampal gyrus, diencephalon and cingulate gyrus is known as the limbic circuit of knowledge transfer in which all types of learning inputs are converted into limbic knowledge for the amygdala processing of zeid factors. Cingulate cortex is responsible for the generation of zeid factor that is projected to amygdala for the emotional processing of learning and memory.

Amygdala is a brain structure lying underneath the uncus of temporal lobe. It is primarily involved in the learning factors of life and regulates various stages of memory formation in other brain regions, such as hippocampus and prefrontal cortex. It is also associated with the consolidation and retrieval of emotional memories.

The structures of medial temporal lobe including hippocampus, entorhinal cortex and perirhinal cortex in conjunction with amygdala play a pivotal role in declarative memory formation, memory consolidation and contextual fear memory formation. In addition, the amygdala influences the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis to release stress hormones that subsequently regulate memory consolidation as well as storage in cerebellum, sensory neocortex, and medial temporal lobe.

Besides memory consolidation, retrieval of contextual memory is also regulated by the interplay between amygdala, hippocampus and prefrontal cortex. Posterior hippocampus encodes the memories of specific objects and their location in a particular context. Anterior hippocampus participates in memory formation that strongly differentiates between contexts. Such contextual memories from the anterior hippocampus are passed on to the prefrontal cortex, which subsequently facilitates the retrieval of specific object-related memories through perirhinal and lateral entorhinal cortex.

The limbic circuit of cingulate gyrus, parahippocampal gyrus and diencephalon describes the pathways of instance guided object learning (IGOL) that needs the projection of zeid factors. It is similar to Papez Circuit that conducts the functions of zeid factor for aversion or appreciation. Papez Circuit is also true to generate the zeid factors of knowledge transfer dealing with aversion or approval for the projections of amygdala.

Teaching system gives only conventional learning that isn’t efficient for book to brain fast transfer. System of direct school is observed in school learnography in which knowledge is transferred directly from source book to learning students and subject teacher acts as a subject moderator. This is the theory of book to brain transfer and teaching isn’t necessary in classroom. The learning mechanism of brain is mainly based on the neuroscience of amygdala system but it is not followed in school system.

A great contribution in brain learnography from Henry Molaison

Driving force of life comes from the fear and reward systems of amygdala. But hippocampus acts as a search engine for the working mechanism of brain. Zeid markers are produced by the amygdala system of brain to identify the pattern of informative objects for long term potentiation.

This is the part of limbic system, an evolutionarily highly conserved area that was well developed in animals before man, and is part of an active vigilance for survival mechanism. There are three phases of brain learnography – working, learning and building. So school learnography has also three phases like working phase, learning phase and building phase to make complete brainpage of knowledge chapter.

Working is the practice of chapter tasks and learning is the brainpage making process of knowledge chapter. While building is the formation of design and objects to describe the structure and function of subject matter.

Sensory input system of cerebral cortex is the processor of stimulus and information. Prefrontal cortex is the moderator of facts, ideas and thoughts. But amygdala system of brain is the modulator of working, learning and building. It is connected with prefrontal cortex, an area involved with our highest intellectual properties, receives sensory inputs from it all the time.

Deep learning is acquired from the hippocampal phase of brain. It extracts knowledge from the temporal region of brain and amygdala takes part in the processing of modular learning.

Henry Gustav Molaison (February 26, 1926 – December 2, 2008) was widely known as HM in the study of behavioral neuroscience. He was an American memory disorder patient who had a bilateral medial temporal lobectomy. The anterior two thirds of his hippocampus, parahippocampal cortices, entorhinal cortices, piriform cortices and amygdalae were surgically resected in an attempt to cure the seizures of his epilepsy. He was widely studied from late 1957 until his death in 2008.

Henry Molaison (HM) was famous in neuroscience for the study of knowledge he provided about memory impairment and amnesia. He was not a neuroscientist but a patient who contributed in the study of learning mechanism and memory formation.

It was thought that his exact brain surgery allowed a good understanding of how particular areas of brain may be linked to learning process and memory formation. The process of managing memory in brain mechanism was hypothesized previously but it was not verified by the findings of Molaison’s memory loss and learning disabilities. In this way, his case was taken to provide information about brain pathology and helped to form the theories of normal memory function.

His case played an important role in the development of theories that explain the link between brain function and memory. Cognitive neuropsychology is a branch of psychology that aims to understand how the structure and function of human brain relate to specific psychological processes. He resided in a care institute in Windsor Locks, Connecticut, where he was the subject of ongoing investigation to develop the modern theories of cognitive science.

His apparent ability was observed to complete tasks that require the recall of information from short-term memory and procedural memory. But long-term episodic memory was not found to mediate the recall from these memory systems, at least in part by the different areas of brain.

Similarly, his ability to recall long-term memories that existed well before his surgery was intact. But new long-term memory was not possible. Molaison’s inability suggests that encoding and retrieval of long-term memory information may also be mediated by the distinct systems of amygdala, entorhinal cortex and hippocampus.

The imaging of Molaison’s brain in the late 1990s revealed that the extent of damage was more widespread than previous theories had accounted for anterograde and retrograde amnesia. It was making very hard to identify any one particular region or even isolated set of regions that were responsible for his deficits and inability.

Study of Molaison’s living and working revolutionized understanding for the organization of human memory and working mechanism. It has provided broad evidence for the rejection of old theories and the formation of new theories on human memory and learning spectrum. The major insights of modern theory were outlined for learning mechanism and memory formation, in particular about its processes and underlying neural structures (Kolb & Whishaw 1996).

These findings suggest revisiting raw data from behavioral testing. A discrete lesion was discovered in the pre-frontal cortex that was never suspected. The 3D virtual model of the brain allowed the dynamics of the surgery to be reconstructed, and found that the brain damage above the left orbit could have been created by Dr. Scoville when he lifted the frontal lobe to reach into the medial temporal lobes.

We know that the hippocampus and amygdala of brain play a significant role in cognitive improvement. The researchers observed the living, thinking and learning of Molaison’s brain for behavioral neuroscience.

The study of brain parts described the general neuropathological state of brain via multiple imaging modalities. Molaison was living in the care center and he died when he was 82 years old. His brain had aged considerably and showed several pathological features which were severe to his cognitive decline.

After the death of Henry Molaison, his brain was fixed and preserved for further study. On December 4, 2009, Annese’s group acquired 2401 brain slices with only two damaged slices and 16 potentially problematic slices. The digital 3D reconstruction of his brain was finished at the beginning of 2014. It opened the new frontier of neuroscience which could help in finding the facts of learning mechanism and the memory formation of brain.

Results of the pathological study were published in Nature Communications for January 2014. It was a great surprise, the researchers found that the half of Molaison’s hippocampus had survived the 1953 brain surgery.

Remaining part of hippocampus had deep implications on past and future interpretations of Molaison’s neurobehavioral profile. The previous literature of findings was not true which described Henry Molaison as a pure hippocampus lesion patient.

Molaison’s brain was the subject of an unprecedented anatomical study funded by the Dana Foundation and the National Science Foundation. The project of Brain Observatory at UC San Diego headed by Jacopo Annese provided a complete microscopic survey of entire brain. It has revealed the neurological basis of Molaison’s historical memory impairment at cellular resolution.

School system is based on cognitive learning and its center is the prefrontal cortex of brain. After brain surgery, Molaison faced cognitive decline and memory impairment in his life. Some of the past events were lost and future was never experienced. He was showing permanent present tense in his regular life.

Learnography is the science of learning mechanism which deals with the modulation of knowledge chapters. So the contribution of Molaison’s living gave knowledge and evidence to show the significance of amygdala and hippocampus in learning activities, memory recall and brainpage making process.

Students make smart brainpage in real learning

Amygdala system of brain is motivated in classroom to fix attention in listening process. Teaching proceeds and students goes in passive education. Amygdala is hijacked during instruction and brainpage is not made for academic performance. It is always suggested that students should be motivated for the effective learning of knowledge chapters. Motivation is stressed in classroom to focus attention but brain needs the modulation of knowledge chapters to consolidate mapping, learning and memory.

We must differentiate the functions of motivation and modulation in classroom situations. Teacher is considered as the moderator of subject matter to modulate learning process. So teaching is not necessary in learning process but moderation runs in school system to make smart classroom for children’s learnography.

Students learn their lessons in the institution and a classroom is the environment of learning development (ELD). Therefore, classroom always plays an important role in the learning process. The failure of classroom situations will invite a number of problems before institution and parents.

Book to brain learning is the direct learning of knowledge chapters. Students learn prescribed chapter using the method of indirect learning in classroom. But direct learning is exercised at home to study the subject matter of tasks.

Learning mystery has not been resolved yet and many theories have been put forward to explain the learning process of human brain. Nowadays personalized learning is focused in school system.

The science of learning mechanism deals with the declarative and procedural learning of knowledge chapters. The brainpage theory of applied neuroscience is suitable to the learning mechanism of knowledge chapters in classroom.

Conventional learning has been provided in school system and students learn the subject matter of knowledge chapters from the teaching performance of classroom system.

Students need skills of learning mechanism while training is not essential for teachers in learnography

The true picture of a teacher is the task moderator of classroom. They must be qualified in subject matter and will be able to moderate the learning segments of knowledge chapter.

The teacher knows how to develop smart brainpage and other materials for the learning activities of classroom performance.

Teaching is not necessary in learnography, so teacher training is not required. Much time is spent on motivation but learning potential doesn’t improve to work out the solution of tasks.

Skill development is necessary for students how to launch the brain modulation of knowledge chapters for learning, writing and understanding.

Advanced training is given to teachers for classroom performance but they are found weak in task moderation to help students in the modular learning of prescribed courses.

Learning skill is the acquisition of formatting motor patterns for autonomous studies and confidence building. In this way, learning brain will be motivated automatically to solve the problem of mathematics, science and literature.

The training of school learnography must be provided for students to be the active small teachers of classroom. They will be skilled how to learn chapter from source book as teachers do before classroom presentation.

We must differentiate that school learnography is the theory of big teacher and small teachers. This is very old system of human civilization to transfer skill and knowledge from one generation to another known as Taxshila Design School System.

In the beginning of learning process, brainpage making activities are found slow to acquire skill, knowledge and understanding. Students should not be pressurized to learn fast and make no mistakes.

Intense concentration is required in brainpage making process and fear system may harm learning success. The fear of classroom learning creates distraction in the amygdala system of brain and students will go on truancy to escape from painful classroom control.

After three weeks, the amygdala system of subcortical brain will be ready for brainpage making process.

Knowledge is written in the modules of object language, so brainpage modulation will be initialized to launch the spectrum and formator of knowledge chapter for working, learning and understanding.

School of learnography takes at least three years to modulate brain mechanism for the advancement of smart brainpage by bringing positive changes in attitude, attention and achievement.

The learning mechanism of students becomes very fast for the transfer of subject matter using book to brain theory.

How does number learnography differ from object learnography?

Mathematics is the science of number learnography which deals with the intuitive ideas of numerical patterns and the arithmetic operators of differential calculation.

It is easy to forget numbers but the memory of object definition and pattern like word and phrase can be remembered for long time. Priming effect of brain learnography is illustrated in the learning of numerical derivatives and the face factor of objective functions.

High class teaching is the first priority of school system, but high class chapter learning should be prioritized.

We do not care of learning skill needed to understand the subject matter of chapter. This is the skill of learnography to apply the dimensions of learning mechanism in thinking, processing and writing.

Training is not essential for teachers in learnography but students are trained in learning mechanism to apply the matrix, spectrum, formator, solver, compass and module of knowledge chapters.

After three months, brain modulation gradually becomes smooth and effortless. In the initial stage when matrix and spectrum are awkward, students have to focus on the uploading and downloading of knowledge chapters, especially on sourcepage, brainpage and zeidpage.

At the final stage, students can feel they don’t have to think at all for cognitive practices like implicit memory. Learning hardships will disappear from subject matter and mathematics will be an easy subject on the desks of classroom.

In this way, brain energy is properly utilized in the school of learnography and children can secure the operation of smart brainpage in learning process.

Spatial skill is crucial in using knowledge compass to locate specific definition and function for the application of object language.

We know that hippocampus is the search engine of brain and it also acts as a learning compass in brain learnography. It helps in exploring the subject matter of knowledge chapters for better understanding and learning.

We have to study the learning mechanisms of brain underlying motor skills. We can call it the finger mapping of knowledge chapters.

Finger learning is more important than the rational learning of cognitive science to make smart brainpage. That is why we have to study the motor organization of brain and spinal cord for the successful design of school system.
